Dinner Time Chores

The boys are so funny when it comes to eating. They have there routine. They all sit on a bench on one side of the table. HJ,CJ and then WC. If one gets to close to another that could turn into a huge issue and then sometimes not.
It is interesting to look at their seats after they have eaten because you would think you know how each would keep their spaces, but it is quite different (at least for two of them.) WC wins the cleanest spot award (I know yall are all a little shocked but, it is true!)
The boys are doing a great job with their chores. HJ is in charge of cleaning out the dishwasher at all times and does a wonderful job. Sometimes he gets a little tired of putting up the dishes when he has several loads in one day, but then we just say quit using up all the dishes so fast (HA,ha). WC is in charge of making sure the plates and other dishes make it to the sink so that they can be washed. CJ- well.... if there is an unfortunate spill he is the clean up man. He runs and gets a towel and tries his best to get it all cleaned up! What great boys we have.
I took this picture when all were getting along and enjoying a warm, fresh baked loaf of bread. They love eating "german dinners" (which means bread, fresh fruit, sometimes cheese and sliced meat, and then some cold milk to drink.)We love these dinners because they are so easy and fast.
(Notice the toy at the table? This just happens to be one of Daddy's major rules "NO toys at the table! It is a good rule because inevitably it causes an issue, too much playing and not enough eating. The other problem - "He has my toy!" I did not even notice it there until after the picture was taken.)
